Here is a classic example of of redefining the faith to make it mean something different than it once was. It suffices to say that neither the Reformers, nor John Wesley, knew what a typewriter was. "Justify" is, in fact, a legal term, and according to Article IX of the Articles of Religion, "We are accounted righteous before God only for the merit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, by faith, and not for our own works or deservings." Justifi8cation is the act of declaring us righteous in the sight of God through the righteousness of Christ imputed to us and received by faith. Perhaps Rev. Henderson could read Paul's Epistle to the Romans. He might have an Aldersgate experience of his own!
