I was impressed how good that track turned out for racing. The initial layout didn't seem to me to be anything great for racing, then they changed it, making it even simpler, and I thought it'd be boring. Sure proved me wrong. I guess with or without a bunch of jumps and man-made obstacles, racing dirt bikes is entertaining. Ya'd think I'd know, since the stuff I ride and used to "race" (only amateur local stuff, and only for fun) is a shadow of a challenge compared to the pro tracks, yet it was still a blast. Crazy how this SMX series is turning out....much, much better than simply an experiment.

Really good to see AP fast. Hope he can carry it not only to the next round, but to the MXON. Hampshire had some fast moments, too.

The lights were from the sides at 45°< so they made a 90° v in the ruts with everything above the V lit up, and everything below the V in the black of night. No light from above, no ambient light, only directional.

It's hilarious that Jett waves by Roczen when Roczen would of passed him regardless cause he was faster late race then Jett was and tries to make it out as it was to put Roc in the middle of him and Chase when it doesn't even matter going into round 3 cause whoever wins that race wins it all anyway which would of been the same if Roczen was between them or not, I think he just didn't want to get beat straight up!

I don’t understand these races at all. So you’re telling me if Roczen wins on Saturday and becomes your “Grand Champion” or whatever they’re calling it, he is going to be your “overall” winner for the year even though he won zero titles and raced almost no outdoors? Seems stupid to me.

Jett handing that race to Kenny did prevent the chance of Kenny going down trying to push for a pass and allowed Jett to control the outcome from second. Smart move to make it closer in the points.

Jett was scared. He couldn't let Kenny beat him straight up. Which is unfortunate for the sport.
