Mace Windu was born on the planet Haruun Kal, around 50 years before the clone wars and because of his natural affinity to the force, he was quickly discovered and taken to the Jedi temple on Coruscant. After constructing his first amethyst lightsaber as a youngling, Windu was promoted to the rank of Padawan and became the apprentice of Cyslin Myr.
