During this stretch the Isles played on the road at NJ, Boston, and Vegas and collected 5 of the 6 points against those teams. Pretty impressive! The home shutout loss to Carolina and the loss to AZ were terrible, though.

Good to see the Islanders get back to winning ways. It’s frustrating to lose games to teams that you think were dead certs but that’s sport for you I guess. Varley was a beast between the pipes tonight. Win or lose I’m an Islander for life! Got to say that Knights uniform looked sick. Love and peace from an English Islanders fan ❤✌🇬🇧🏒🥅

Islanders have one of the turrets remaining schedules, but I think that’s a good thing because they play better against better teams. They really get in their head and play down to crappy teams.

I love our Islanders but man they confuse me. They're like a Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde kind of team. They'll look great one night and horrendous the next. No consistency this year. They'll beat very good teams like Vegas, etc, and get blown out by teams in the bottom of the standings, makes no sense.

Add another top scorer and keep the young guys up, that’s what this game told me. Other then that this is a team that gets swept by the Coyotes but beats powerhouses like Vegas, New Jersey, can go toe to toe with Boston..it makes 0 sense. Stop playing down to competition and just win 🔷🔶☠️🔥
