Keith Carradine is a remarkable Hollywood actor and not only! At first, he reached for the stars on the Broadway and later in cinematography. He is well-known and recognized due to the roles in TV series Nashville and Dexter. Additionally to that, he is a song writer and an Oscar and Golden Globe Awards winner. The first debut in the moviemaking world happened in 1971 when he was featured in McCabe & Mrs. Miller, where he played a cowboy. After that he was literally piled up with offers from film-directors and that’s how he gradually rose to popularity.

Carradine’s dynasty started from a great granddad, who was a leading evangelist as well as an author.

A paternal granddad named William Reed also played a vital role in creating and developing a talented family. He was a correspondent for the Associated Press. And even though he lived only 37 years, his contribution in a family was big.

As for the paternal grandmother, she was a surgeon by profession and passed away aged 82, in 1967.

The celebrity’s father, John was an actor and a father of five kids. He was closely related to the cinema world and appeared in over 350 movies during all his career. Four of the children became film performers as a consequence and Keith wasn’t an exception. John was married four times and so, Keith has not only blood siblings but also half-ones. John passed away in 1988, at the age of 82.

The mother, Sonia was into the filmmaking sphere too. She was a talented actress, who performed in various movies. The marriage with John lasted from 1945 till 1957, during which they produced three kids. She died in 2004, being 83.

The actor has an adopted brother Bruce from dad’s marriage to Ardanelle Cosner. He is also an actor but performs only minor roles.

There is also a half-brother David from father’s marriage to Cosner. He was a famous film performer in his own right. He was featured in Kung Fu, Kill Bill, etc. Nonetheless, he was not only an actor but also a father to three kids and four stepchildren. He was married five times and died in 2009, aged 73 at a quite strange and intriguing circumstances. They say, it happened because of an accident during sexual intercourse experiments.

Christopher is a blood brother and the only sibling, who is not into the show-business. He is an architect by profession and is very successful in this sphere. Also, he is married and has 3 kids.

One more blood brother is Robert and he is an actor. He can be seen in Lizzie McGuire sitcom and other movies. He was married twice and is a dad to two children. Nowadays, he is working on King of the Nerds as an executive producer.

Michael is a half-brother from the mother’s side. He became famous thanks to the Lost and Jack Welkeron series.

Carradine was married twice with an actress Sandra Will being his first spouse. The couple had been together since 1982 and up till 2000. During this time, they became parents to two wonderful children.

In 2006, Keith walked an actress Hayley DuMond down the aisle and the two love birds have been living happily ever since then.

As for the movie star’s children, he has three of them.

Martha Plimpton was born in 1970 and she is daughter with Shelley Plimpton. At that time, Keith and Martha were featured together in Hair and had a short affair that resulted in a child. Martha is now a model and an actress.

In a marriage with Sandra, there are two kids.

A son Cade Richmond was delivered in 1982 and as the rest of the family, he is an actor.

The daughter, Sorel Johannah was welcomed in 1985. She also followed parent’s steps and became a movie performer.
