It's a shame so many people dislike Jaheira - she's really powerful with well picked weapon skills and gear, and her attitude (little bit whiny and mean) is much more understandable for me when I got older. She and Viconia (who is my personal number 1) are the most interesting female characters in Baldur's Gate saga

Yea, unmodded, Jaheira and Anomen are pretty bad. You'd rather they stay in the back and sling stones. But with mods, Jaheira is really awesome. I take her every run because I love the extra 100k xp for romancing her and the extra 2 Spirit's Shields and Guard's Rings are a must.

Me when I first tried BGEE: hmm, seems she's the medic of the team. Better keep her away from combat.

Is this for Baldur’s Gate II Enhanced Edition? I heard Jaheira was weak in the original Baldur’s Gate II so maybe some things changed?

Why is it that she can do stuff silenced? Do druid spells not require her to speak? I only have one playthrough and own the game through beamdog, how would I go about installing the mods I see you guys talking about? and do they change the game in a way that affects the integrity or anything, I still want to do a legit "no cheating" playthrough, really just nothing cheezy. I played as an archer and with my playstyle (collect every coin, clear every map completely) I usually am kind of op on basic difficultys in games if not just overprepared. What difficulty would you recommend for someone who wants a real challenge and to have to strategize each fight, using backstabs traps etc, without wanting to throw their computer out the window. I beat the game like 9 or 10 years ago when I was sixteen, and i didn't employ any backstabbing or higher echelon techniques. I kind of just shot everything to death with my archer, who I believe did like 60-80% of all the damage in my party
