I think tutorial videos like this should always demonstrate full teardown using only the space accessible from the front or back (not from the side). The parts of the rails that connect to the rack seem like they could be pretty hard to detach unless you have small fingers if you cannot access the rail from the side panels.

Okay, now why doesn't mine slide all the way in?
There's about a 2 inch gap between the front of the rack and where the face of the server stops.
The slide always return to the same position regardless of of how deep the rails are set.
It fit perfectly fine when I tested it out, and now that I go to put it back on the rack I can't figure it out for the life of me. Driving me absolutely batty.

I bought a ProLiant DL 380 and got only the slider . .. cable management arm is missing 😭

How do you remove this particular rail system?

The issue I have is on how to remove the rails from the server cabinet. I have been looking online for a way to remove the guide rail kit from those holes. I mis-aligned one end of the rail kit and I can't seem to find a way on how to uninstall it from the server cabinet so I can re-seat it properly.

My DL360 isn't releasing when I pull down the tabs in the front. I'm pulling down the tabs that say DL360 gen10 on both sides. Any suggestions?

great video, I have some server are HP DL360 G9, all the rails are PN663201-B21, but servers need to be mount on U40 and above, they're very high, how could we lower the server into that positon? we have to do the complicated work on the ladder, 663200 b21can easily push server in, may i know if PN663201 also can do it this way?a
