2019 BMW X7 | The Definitive Review | TestDriveNow

It seems impossible that it would take BMW this long to bring a big 3-row to market but this is definitely one of those instances where good things come to those who wait. This is the first-ever X7 and it’s packing everything BMW has to offer.

MSRP as-tested: $112,245

BMW nailed the X7. You can tell they really put their all into making it one of the best SUVs on the road.

What a perfectly vivid review. It made me feel like I just ate a big fancy brunch. Not a car I really want, but I want it a lot more than I did before I saw this review! Hope you
enjoyed your time with it.

How the hell did this reach $112k WITHOUT the massaging and Ventilated seats??

It’s crazy how those 21’s look small on this car.

Can't help but think Lincoln Navigator when I see the front grill. Beautiful and luxurious interior though. Another great review. You should have a lot more subs.

Well done! It will be interesting to see what Escalade does to compete.

This is awesome! Let's get it to the Trending page. Come on!
Key points - that V8 is so intoxicating I hesitate calling it a lump. It's a keg!
- the pillow headrests look like slippers for juvenile elephants

if this had an insane V12 like 760 ..that would be the ultimate luxury crossover ...This is not an SUV ...CROSSOVER

The problem for BMW is what happens when Mercedes releases their redesigned GLS after this?
Will it steal it's thunder?
I would've waited until after Mercedes released their redesign.
They've waited this

Asides the extremely opulent Rolls Royce Cullinan. I still think the Bentley Bentayga, Range Rover LWB Autobiography and Cadillac Escalade (in its highest trim) have the most opulent second row seats in the Full Sized Luxury SUV category.

I'm sorry, but the tester vehicle's second row seat looks like something that could be had in some mainstream minivans. I feel BMW could offer a more befitting second row compartment to help justify the upgrade from the already excellent X5.

My thoughts though

I don't believe the RR touchscreen system is the right way. It's a touchscreen and needs too many presses to get a job done. This means less accidents

Great review. Not my favorite on the outside but the inside is gorgeous. And considering the size, weight, and power, a 17 mpg combined is impressive to me.

I'm surprised you're actually in favour of the dual-screen set-up in other cars. Most reviewers find them a distraction while on the move, dangerous because they require you take your eyes off the road for longer to look down and see what you're pressing, and annoying because of all the grubby fingerprints.
