Wow, those pictures of the toys boxed and carded in the aisles of the stores really hit hard. Bring back memories I never knew I had.

God i remember seeing boxes and boxes of second hand Star Wars figures in second hand shops and “Jumble Sales” back in the late 80’s. back then you couldn’t give them away.

I have been waiting a long time for this episode on collecting guide, i also love the music in the background. It is very star warsy. I happen to own a vintage kenner darth vader action figure from 1977. Loose. Man it is retro. It reminds me of the days when children and adults used to love their lives watching their children play with their figures that they had just got and opened up.

Born in 1969 so I was the perfect age for Star Wars. Didn't have much money then but I did get a few figures in 1979. Had more money in my pocket in the late 80's but by then, all the action figures had disappeared.

I need to upload my original 12. I put my friend's Blue Snaggletooth in a few vids like my Jawa Sandcrawler. I was 10 when I saw Star Wars. A kid on the school bus had R2 and 3PO. My Dad took my sister and I the next day to get Luke, Vader, Ben, Han, Chewie, Leia, R2, 3PO and a Stormtrooper. They were locked behind a jewel case. The manger had to get a key. He said I don't know why they do this lol My friend eventually got Blue Snaggletooth in the Sears exclsive cardboard cantina. I got the ESB Carbon Freezing chamber instead. I already had the original cantina. I remember his Aunt says It's a piece of cardboard! His cousin had a vinyl caped Jawa. I have my Sandcrawler so we each have a holy grail Star Wars collectible lol MTFBWY PS @2:44 takes me back. You can tell there was probably one Vader short-cased in a case of lots of Sand People lol

I remember sending Kenner proofs of purchase and getting the Bossk action figure by mail in 1980. Still have it.

When I was a kid in the 80’s, we moved across country and my box of toys never made it. The movers stole them. They got my original vintage Star Wars figures in the Darth Vader carrying case and that Yoda hand puppet at 2:22 in the video. They also took my original transformers and original He-Man figures. All gone. I can’t bear to think of how much money that would be today but I had a lot of them. I collect Star Wars figures today to get back a little of what I lost and so I can share them with my son.

Just inherited a handful of loose figures that were never played with they still look brand new. All stamped 1977 and Made in Hong Kong on them. Obi wan Kenobi with vinyl cape and saber still intact, Darth Vader with vinyl cape and saber still intact, Luke Skywalker Tattoine clothing with saber still intact, C-3PO and R2-D2. They were locked in a modified humidor box for who knows how long so look like they were fresh from the store. He used to have all the vehicles and playsets but sold most of when his cancer started getting bad. I remember when he let the Death Star set go it was my favorite I had when I was a kid too. Are loose vintage worth anything if in excellent condition?

What sort of value would a complete collection of loose figures bring including all the last 17 and blue snaggletooth? I have some weapons and accessories.

What is the book you show in the video with all the carded variation of the figures?
