I have a 15 GT and it has the nice sound, I also just bought a 17 Ecoboost convertible with 40k miles and it runs just fine. Complaining that the Ecoboost does not have the sound of a 5.0 is just stupid, didn't you listen to the engine before buying it? I do not modify my cars so I do not expect the problems you speak of. I enjoy the 30+ MPG on the Ecoboost and the steering is a lot lighter due to less weight than the 5.0. The early spark plug changing is a bunch of BS. Millennials always have something to complain about. Wait until 2020 when the hybrid Mustang comes out. Boo hoo, boo hoo!

I've had my 2017 premium for 3 years now and it runs perfectly. I haven't had any real problems and I have 32, 000 miles on it. It's not a V8 and I wouldn't try to make it sounds like one either. It's my daily driver, it looks great and it's a blast to drive. If you want speed, don't mod, just save up and get the GT. I bought a C6 Z51 convertible Vette a few years before I bought the mustang. Honestly, they are both awesome to drive for completely different reasons. Whether it's cost or you don't need the V8, whatever the reason, I do recommend the ecoboost mustang. Just my opinion...

Not heard of the issues you bring up regarding Eco boost. 4 cylinders Eco boost puts out a lot of torque and horsepower 300+ o. Booth ends. The Mustang Eco boost is not the same motor from the 70's. If your a V8 GT guy my advice might be to buy one, V8 will eventfully go the way of the dodo bird. Eco boost is a fun drive for me it's a weekend fun car. If I had the issues your worried or experiencing let Ford and the dealer know.

2016 Ecoboost I travel to and from San Francisco to southern California every other weekend and no probs I think leaving the engine stock is the way to go. Never a problem. when the car reaches 120 thou I will get 2nd tune.

They fixed a lot of these things up from mid 2016-2017. I have a 2017 mid year with no issue.

The car looks good it’s a mustang and it’s quick but it’s not fast and it doesn’t sound or feel like a mustang you can’t feel the rumble in your feet or hear the deep roar like in a GT but this thing will save you lots of money in gas and insurance and still stick out in public

Ecoboost does not need spark plugs at 10k.

To be honest, you can't expect much from a 4 cyl car. A 4 cyl car is just made for driving to get from point A to point B and to save gas. That is all it is for. It's not made for racing.

Everything bad happens to this dude🤦🏻‍♂️, stop complaining and learn that this car is not meant to be 500 hp just stop modifying it and get a Gt and stop shitting on 2.3

I personally wouldn't get a mustang unless the 5.0 was in the budget. If it wasn't, I'd simply buy a different car. To each their own though. Turbo motors will always require more care and attention than non turbo cars. My sti is way more of a maintnence handful than my s2000 is.

Funny your most negative video on your car gets the most traction lol and most thumbs down. @5:52 you say the engine is a new one, but the design has been around for awhile now, just in Mazda vehicles ect. So there is history with this engine, but at the time of this video, it was fairly new in the Ford Mustang EcoBoost, which i'm sure you meant.

2.3 Ecoboost: open-deck cylinder head design, prone to head gasket failures, cracks, problems.
2.0 Ecoboost: closed-deck cylinder head design, strong, robust, reliable, withstands performance upgrades fine.

The real question should be, should I buy a 2.3 Ecoboost or a 3.7 n/a V6? The answer is obviously the tried and true V6. People buying the "other than V8" option are concerned with cost, fuel consumption, insurance rates. Too bad a good strong V6 without turbos is going away in 2018.

I still have my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost : no oil leaks, but problems with the AC.

65k AC has been fine on mine. Catch can? Never heard of it. Never emptied it. Oil smell? Nope. Haven’t modified it.

Thanks bro, I’m getting ready to go to the dealer this Thursday 8/7/19 for the oil leak. I’ll let you guys know what happens, since this dealership is very highly rated for customer satisfaction, I should expect it to get fixed/good news

You should have saved a bit more money and bought the GT. By the time you build a new motor/clutch You could have had the 460 horse GT.

When I finally got rid of my 89 Gt it had over 200, 000 miles with major parts replaced being the window motor, Starter, Alternator, fuel pump etc. Same motor with bolt ons and original transmission. Depending on the elements and me, the car ran between 13.2 and 12.8. Yes I had to replace every bs part on it but besides snapping the clutch cable at the track and fuel pump going out on a trip, it never left me stranded. They were a car.everyone could work on yourself and for cheap. I want to see how these ne ones hold up with their 30 to $55, 000 pricetags. My car had a $5000 value and ran 12's as did most everyones.
These are complete shit but I don't think you can complain about stuff that was there when you bought it or people already started complaining about.

Sounds like all the problems my 99' camry has. But I paid $2k so I'm fine driving with a minor leak 😄
