Wow... Ten years. This video is now ten years old! It's honestly incredible knowing how much time has passed. Quite a nostalgic and neatly edited video for what would seem like just a simple death compilation with a counter attached. I'm sure the near 15 million views it has as of April 28 2023 shows how much it stuck with people!

Anyone ever notice how in all the other mario games when you die mario just falls through the floor to somewhat still upbeat music, but in this game he gets crushed, torched, chomped, and suffocated, and it shows the death in all its brutality, even going as far as showing his limp body floating to the surface while water slowly fills his lungs?
