I bought scaler when it first came out, best purchase in my lifetime. I can't get it to work with Kontakt Instruments though in the latest Cubase 13.

Watching the replay... there is a basic question I have with Scaler2... how can I change the binding... if I wanted things not to always be starting from C... I hate it when I use my keyboard transposed, to play instruments, and then back to scaler everything should be starting from C...
Also, you were super lucky with these keyswitches that by an amazing chance did not overlap... until "Middle 8"... You trigger this pattern using keyswitch F1... which is also used to change to "Ibiza F Mtd" on the Guitar... how can you resolve these conflicts?
I tried assigning midi keys to patterns, but unfortunately ... it only works with CC and not simple notes... :(

I LOVE these David Carbone videos. It's always inspiring seeing him construct a track around Scaler. I've always been very scared of modulations, especially in a chorus where it's the hook of the song!! I'm inspired to give that a try now. :)

Great video. Thank you so much. If it makes sense, can those 1 to 5 numbered tabs on the right be made horizontal, a little bigger and then placed between the header/status and keyboard area? I know we can use keyboard shortcuts, but would be nice visually if nothing else. Just my opinion.

I bought scaler 2 a few years ago and didn’t realize there were multiple updates since then 😅 the difference from 2.3 to 2.8 is crazy good.

Absolutely love scaler. A function i would love to see introduced would be the ability to use performance (automatied phrasing) mode where when you press a new chord it doesn't cancel the last phrase you pressed and starts the rhythmic pattern from the beginning again, but instead continues the pattern from where it last was, continuing it with the notes of the next chord you're pressing. More swing options would also be great

Hello Davide, hope everything's well. I'm from France and working on non octavian scale. It means that you don't have the same harmonic rules in the different octaves. My question : is it possible to ban certain notes on a range of 5 octaves (my no octavian scale is going back at the starting point after 5 octaves) and obwiesly not the same from an octave to another.... Anyway, all my congratulations for your app.
