Are Hungarians Turkish? - Hungarian Prime Minister: We are Kipchak Turks! So are Hungarians Turkish?

Hungary, which is included in the Turkish Union, has not been on good terms with the European Union in recent years! Hungary, whose membership in the European Union is not wanted, planned new partnerships and soon joined the organization of the Turkish States, the strongest collaborator, as an observer member! Despite its deteriorating relationship with Europe, Hungary has been in a serious trend towards Turkic republics in recent years and therefore the country has been included in the investment fund established by the Turkic council countries.

Whether certain people like it or not the Magyars (pron: Mad-jars) were a steppe equestrian people and the ruling class of the Árpád dynasty traced their ancestry to Attila (Atilla) Hun Nagy Fejedelem Hun Khagan. The oral Legend of The White Stag tells the story of the two brothers Hunor and Magor were to become the founders of the ancestral Huns and Magyars.
The final evidence was proven by Archaeogenetics that the early Graves found in Hungary dating before and during the arrival of the Árpádian dynasty is indeed related to Scythians, Huns and Avars.

Well known words of Sumerian languages belong to only Turkish or Hungarian languages. The relativity of Turks and Hungarians depands on not only Great Hun (Xioungnu) Xhakanate but also the same roots in ancient times. Most probably, the northern neighbours of Sumerians were Turks.

Hello my Hungarian brothers and sisters, I am a Turk from Turkey. My name means great hun and the name of the Göktürk alphabet, which is the first alphabet of the Turks, comes from Orkhon.

Thanks Abi. Don't stress the small minded people. Let's make a future with large minds so we can help the small minds grow.

Merhaba, I do not think that too many of us would believe that we have the same roots, but most of us agree that we had a common past long ago in Central Asia. What I find interesting are the similarities in the structure of the 2 languages. But if we have the same root, the better. We should never have grudges, nor because of hard old times, nor because of what separates us today, but think about what unites us and appreciate the strong bond and true friendship.

Huns were a coalition/confederation of Turkic, Finno-Urgic and Iranic steppe tribes, tho the ruling class was still Turkic. The Hungarians are the offspring of those Finno-Urgic tribes who were part of the Hunnic confederation

The title is misleading. Turkish and Turkik are two different things.

"The people of Hungary are subjects of the Austrian Emperor, whose title, however, is “Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary”. The Hungarians and Turks are of the same race, akin to the Tibetans. The Hungarians entered Europe along the north of the Caspian Sea, while the Turks slowly occupied Europe through the western borders of Persia and through Asia Minor. The people of Hungary are Christians, and the Turks are Mohammedans, but the martial spirit characteristic of Tartar blood is noticeable in both. The Hungarians have fought again and again for separation from Austria and are now but nominally united. The Austrian Emperor is King of Hungary in name only. Their capital, Budapest, is a very neat and beautiful city. The Hungarians are a pleasure-loving race and fond of music, and you will find Hungarian bands all over Paris." - Swami Vivekananda

The Hungarians came from northern Caucasus, near to Khazaria. And both people had to do with Sumeria. This is only my humble opinion.

The Hungarian language is perhaps more Finno-Ugric than Turkish. On the other hand, the Turkish influence is so strong that the possibility of the Hungarian language being a mixed language or rather a Turkish language has been suggested several times. Most of its basic words are of Turkish origin. In second place, the proportion of Finno-Ugric base words is 30-40 percent. 10-20% are words of Iranian, Indo-Aryan and Dravidian origin. Grammar was also heavily influenced by Turks. Perhaps half of the grammatical elements are of Finno-Ugric origin. This question is difficult to decide because the grammatical structures of the Turkish and Finno-Ugric language families are similar. The composition of the Hungarian gene pool is very interesting. 4% Far East (today's China and southern Siberia). 10% are of Northern Afghan origin, (Its belong to to the subcontinent of India, cultural and anthropological), 10% Middle East (today's Syria) 36% Central Asian (Turkish language influence) The 40% Scandinavian-Germanic gene pool was surprising to me. There is strong German linguistic influence for now days Hungarian language. Based on the gene pool, it may be older, perhaps Eastern Gothic and Gepids. Unfortunately, this seemingly innocent question has been completely politicized. The liberal side does not even want to hear about the East and Turkish kinship. The conservative side, on the other hand, views the West with suspicion, feels separate from it, and considers the East more of a relative.

Hungarian Turks look alike Kipchak Turks, a clan in Turkic communities whose face features, eye or skin colors are like Hungarians (blondie, blue/green eyes, beautiful bony face shape..etc) and whose traces everywhere within anatolia and blacksea regions alive. We are cousins definitely and I am proud of having Turkic cousins all around the world. Let's stick to each other as we have no "real" other best friend apart from each other. I am both Kipchak and Chepni Turk with a few caucasian dna as a cherry on top. I am proudly Turk and hug all of you whoever feel the same way about who we are.!

You say Hungarian are very simalar to the people around them… keep in mind that Turkish clans who entered Europa where stronger than de Germanic tribes. This is not just because they had bether warrior skills but means also they came with an lot of people. At least 4 big Turkish tribes came to Europa and they have been mixing. At least 50% of east Europe genetics are Turkic.
