How to Open Excel Document in LibreOffice Calc

Hey! Welcome to HOWZA channel! In today's lesson, you will learn how to open Excel document in Libre Office Calc.
Go to Libre Office.
Open Calc Spreadsheet. Click on File at the top left corner of the window. Choose open from the list. A new window will appear.
Select the Excel file that you need. Click on Open. Excel file will be viewed in Libre Office Calc.

Not so simple. The excel file puts a special character in front of every number that prevents me from adding 2 numbers together.

Didn't work for me. I get a message "the file is corrupt and cannot be opened" It, Calc, cannot repair the file either. The spreadsheet works normally on my Apple laptop with no problems. Thanks for trying.
