Finding Carter is a family drama that centers on Carter, a teenage girl who thinks she has the perfect life until one night, after a police bust at a high school party, she is told that the woman who she believes to be her biological mother actually abducted her as a toddler.

I have 2 theories

1. Lori is Carter and Taylor's bio mom, she dated their dad and for whatever reason he took them from her, or she lost custody or something.  
2.  Their dad asked Lori to take Carter so he could write a book about it, sick I know but what a twist.  Their dad is kind of shady in my opinion.

Unless there's a twist in which Elizabeth stole the daughters from Lori (which seems highly improbable considering how her emotions played out over season 1), I don't see how the show could make me feel any sympathy for Lori, like they say we will. She stole a child and acts like a psychopath. David is a sketchy guy and all, but whatever he did to her doesn't justify kidnapping.

I feel like maybe Elizabeth thought she couldn't have kids at the time so they got a sergeant (Lori). So after Lori had Carter and Taylor she got attached so she kidnapped Carter but didn't have time to grab taylor. so maybe the ending of this video was her stating that she could have both of them if she wanted. Either way Lori is a freaking psychopath haha.
