Lyudmila Pavlichenko, one of the deadliest snipers in history, joined the Red Army in 1941 and quickly gained a reputation as a skilled marksman. She became known as "Lady Death" and was feared by German soldiers. Pavlichenko was sent to the United States on a propaganda tour to drum up support for the Soviet war effort. After the war, she returned to Ukraine and earned a degree in history. Today, she is remembered as a hero and a symbol of female empowerment.

He was a sniper for the Finnish army during the 1939-1940 Winter War (it lasted 3 months 1 week and 6 days).
It's estimated he shot around 500 enemy soldiers in that time.
