Chris, my husband and I appreciate these lessons. We were members of a prosperity gospel church until we decided to search for more. God has guided us to His truth in the Word. We are finding great pastors with sound theological teachings like John MacArthur and others. We were able to see clearly the prosperity and faith word teachings after seeing The American Gospel. We will be seeking a new church family once we are able to get out again, my husband is high risk so we aren’t out seeking in person yet. We are learning and growing at home though and spend most of our free time in God’s word now. We are learning go to discern the wolves. Your videos are useful tools. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and discernment.

I recently stumbled upon your channel through Doreen Virtue and as a former member of Church of the Highlands & having attended this service in person (it was one of the the last i attended before switching to a biblically sound church), I find it very ironic you did a critique on this particular "sermon." Thank you for shedding the light on the truth of the gospel and can't wait to share this!

This type of me, myself and I twaddle is the norm in England now.
Fabulous breakdown and clear concise teaching on how to understand and critique this self righteousness.
Thank you Pastor Chris, sincerely from the UK.

I am very glad I came across your channel. It is very refreshing to listen to a Pastor who's theology is so biblically sound. The first video I watched of yours was the critique of Francis Chan. I remember watching him about four years ago and thinking, this guy is a very sound preacher of the word. Then about four months ago I watched another sermon of his and thought to myself, Is this the same guy I remember watching years ago? I still can't get over him (Francis) coming out of the Masters Seminary and now falling so far away from sound doctrine. Keep on preaching the truth my beloved brother in Christ and may the Grace, Mercy and Love of Christ bless you and keep you.

It's so sad to see someone "lo-wer de bar" of what a sermon ought to be like. Thanks, I'm here all week...

"If you must read yourself into the bible, then read yourself in as the problem. Not the solution." - Pastor Chris 🤣🤣🤣

I wish I had discovered your videos and audio recordings years ago. I was seriously misled by my former pastors / churches concerning sound doctrine and proper execution of sermon preparation and presentation. I love the fact you emphasize exegesis and expository in handling the Word of God. Thank you Chris for all the hard work you put into each video to rightly divide the Word of Truth.

Her jokes about pajamas was disheartening. Not because I'm in my pjs, but she looks like she's in her pjs!

It's UNFAIR for us having to listen to her, but if it improves our understanding and ability to Biblically Critique, so be it.

These so called teachers take beautiful stories and ruin them . I can’t stand listening to this nonsense. I heard junk like and it leaves u with nothing but false garbage that never really feeds one soul. Thanks Chris theses teachings are wonderful!

Your explanation for the text makes so much more sense and brings deeper meaning. It takes a burden off of us. Thank you Pastor.

This woman used to come “preach” at our old mega church in Rockford IL all the time! I cringe hearing her voice now...thanks be to God that my family was rescued from this nonsense and are now members of a confessional historical Lutheran church.

She quoted not fair to come down to dinner as an unfair advantage? Some children are lucky to get a meal😒 let alone a loving family to prepair one for a child?

Thank you Chris Rosebrough for this series! I had a feeling that my previous pastor was a false teacher. This video reallly helped. It's so great to go to a series such as this one to biblical discern the fluff from the Word of God or like the wheat from the tares. of ear tickling stuff out there!
