Love that “and I love you too” it’s short but I’ve rarely seen anyone in the Batman family say I love you to Bruce. Granted it’s Dick saying it but a normal phrase like that being used in the bat family which is anything but normal, hits even harder

The fact that Bruce is so emotionally stunted that he can't tell his son that he loves him is tragic. And I love that Dick just takes that burden from him without hesitation. I genuinely miss when they were written like this.
