PNR no. depends on the route of the train and where its source and which zone the train belongs to rather than the location from where the person books the ticket.

PNR NUMBER INDICATE the OWNER Of the train, means base station. for eastern railway 6, Southern 4 etc.

Sir, Tatkal booking per video banaiye.. common person ko tatkal me ticket hi nahi milta.
Some point to do research on
1) Tatkaal booking chances for common person .
2) revenue from waitlist ticket, tatkaal charges, waiting list seat automatic cancellation by IRCTC for online tickets.
3) current booking facility which opens after chart preparation.
4) Reservation algorithm of IRCTC/Railway for reservation.

0:55 the PRS zone is probably based on the home zone of the train. Haven't verified this though. Also, I wonder what the PNR first digit for Konkan Railway is 🤔

Yeh jo random number generate hota hai yeh agar random hai toh firse generate hone se bhi same number generate hojayega lekin pnr number hamesha unique hote hai.

Becoz train originates from diff zone of prs that's why it happens e.g. if I take ticket from New Delhi to Amritsar in pashchim exp. Which come from Mumbai then my PNR no. Will start from 7 or 8 insted of

The first digit of PNR depends on the originating station zone of train.

Train always belongs to one of 16 train zones.. so the receipts for the train goes to that zone thus the pnr is from that zone
