When he’s not cursing Toby or running over Meredith, Michael Scott (Steve Carell) truly cares about the people he works with. And while he might be the office clown, he was once Dunder Mifflin’s top salesman. So sit back in that surplus-funded chair and enjoy all of Michael Scott's best boss moments!

Synopsis: The Office is a hilarious mockumentary-style glimpse into the water-cooler culture of the 9-to-5 world. Steve Carell stars in his Golden Globe®-winning role as earnest but clueless boss Michael Scott, who can't help but contribute his own irreverent commentary to the happenings at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. As the staff deals with potential office mergers, romances, and pranks, Michael's always there to say all the wrong things at all the right times.

Michael and Pam at the art show was one of the most heartwarming things when I first saw it

Honorable mention: When Stanford and Scranton were merging and Josh screwed Dunder Mifflin and Jim said "say what you want about Michael Scott, but he would never do that".

4:36 When Jan is about to interrupt but Michael motions for her to be quiet so that he can arrive at his own decision, that's a master negotiation tactic at work. Never underestimate Michael Scott. Always estimate him.

The scene at Pam's art show will forever be a huge favorite of mine. You can just tell how much it meant to her to see him so excited over her artwork, even before he said "I'm really proud of you." Gets me teary every time I see it.

Michael's recommendation letter for Dwight is an amazing scene ❤

People forget that Michael got the supervisor job because he was one of the best salesmen in the company.

I loved the small scene when Michael was saying a final goodbye to Erin who was sitting on the bench outside of the office. That was so honest and heartfelt.

Probably that wholesome moment when Michael and Jim were on the cruise ship. Michael telling Jim to never give up about Pam.

I’ve always loved the rational agreement Michael made with Stanley
Michael stood his ground and understood that Stanley just didn’t like him

It was the most realistic solution possible and that’s exactly why I like this show, it feels real.

Michael just chilling with Jim not trying to be funny but just talking was so beautiful.

"I see your situation and I raise you a situation!" I was blown away by what followed. I never expected Michael Scott to be this brilliant when it came to business. But time and again, he has proved what is capable of!

Right before the art show when he tells Ryan “we’re not in the paper business we’re in the people business” is very underrated one of his best moments for sure and a great life lesson

Given how much Michael has expressed a *need* to be liked, I think 11:50 is a really mature moment for him. He and Stanley have worked together for years upon years and he just has to sit with the idea that this guy doesn't like him and move forward.

The way Michael handled Stanley, if every boss in the world had that kind of mindset, we would have more mentors in offices instead of horrible bosses

Pam's art show was perfect because Michael went to offer support even after Ryan embarrassed him at the business school.

That scene of Michael mentoring Jim but also kind of pushing him to think if he wants to be there in 10 years. Love that mentorship ❤.

Jim and Michaels little conversation is such a wholesome moment

When Michael said "I don't think I need to wait out Dunder Miflin, I think I need to wait out you."

That was when I actually respected him and his business sense
