The guitar work between George and Barrere in the segue into Tripe Face Boogie is some serious playing. You play the guitar, I'll bring the wine. On the subject of greatest live albums: Waiting For Columbus ranks very near the top of my personal live album favorites list.
Little Feat has influences in many genres and this album demonstrates that. The musicianship in LF (this lineup) is among the best for any American band I have listened to.

I listened to it on my way home from practice last night and again this morning and it has occurred to me that if you haven’t heard this before, I am sharing with you a life-changing listening experience. To that effect: please set aside 20 minutes, put on your best headphones, set the volume to loud – to wit: no interruptions, don’t insult yourself with the speakers on your laptop and fasten your safety belt. There are so many treats in store! “Dixie Chicken” may test your patience a bit but stay with it, there are surprises aplenty coming around the corner.

LF is one of my most favorite bands, I saw them 8 times. The best was the Valley Forge music fair where the stage moved slowly in a circle. I was in the front row watching Richie work his set like the pro he is.

Besides ABB live at the Fillmore East this is the other greatest live albums ever recorded in the history of Rock & Roll!! Tower of Power Horns with Little Feat on this album. The ABB and Little Feat were the 2 best live Bands ever in no order. Just Marvelous saw both original bands more times than I probably deserved!! I don't even mean that. Blessed is what I am❤❤
