Polite Moose Use Crosswalk || ViralHog

Occurred on November 12, 2022 / Highriver, Alberta, Canada

I was driving home in High river, Alberta, Canada and I saw one moose crossing, then realized there was another, and then another! Then it dawned on me that they were using the crosswalk (now canadian of them).

They’ve seen cars stop and probably let them go by before so they know that’s a good place to cross. If it’s one thing animals will try their hardest to figure out, is how to eat and how to stay alive

I saw a coyote do that at a busy three way intersection. It crossed several intersections while waiting for the cars to stop. I was amazed at its intelligence. A true city coyote.

I once stopped at an unmarked crosswalk for a raccoon. Who watched me stop, looked both ways and walked across the road keeping eye contact with me the entire way. I thought to myself: This wild animal is better at using crosswalks then the average human!
