Honestly can this migration be even more painful? It's really unfortunate that you guys are dropping support for v3 (which still a lot of us are using it by the way) and then a super complex migration is needed to upgrade to v4. When is v5? Can't wait to have to go through all the same pain again. The even sadder thing is the fact that it's hard to find the v3 docs on the internet. Is it not possible for Strapi to have docs for both versions?

Totally agree with @sgares .This is as horrible as it can get.
Are you building v5 having in mind with the migration process being smoother?

Edit: I take it back, It wasn't that bad actually. All the errors i faced were pretty easy to figure out.

I asked in an earlier post if Strapi is considering maintaining two versions - v3 & v4. This is premised on the fact that some legacy applications developed in v3 will be costly to migrate to v4. Therefore, supporting v3 as a version will be the only solution. I believe majority of your clients are facing this dillema.
