Thanks to Martino De Falco for translating the song again!

I couldn't find a full version of this song anywhere, so I had to edit the song to create the ending myself. Hopefully it isn't noticeable or too obvious.

Now, about the song itself: This one was written in 1944 by a group of communist partisans in the Garibaldi brigade,
which was a partisan brigade created by the Italian Communist Party in September 1943. Most of the members were socialists, communists and anarchists. They usually wore red scarves around their necks and a red star on their hats.

The man in the photo is Vincenzo "Cino" Moscatelli, a partisan commander of the Garibaldi brigade in Valsesia. He is one of the most respected and best known partisans. After the war, he became a politician of the communist party.

Lyrics:

Fate largo che passa
la brigata Garibaldi
la più bella, la più forte,
la più ardita che ci sia,
quando passa, quando avanza,
il nemico fugge allor
tutto rompe, tutto infrange
con la forza e con l’ardor.

Abbiam la giovinezza in cor,
simbolo di vittoria
marciano sempre forte
e non temiam la morte,
la stella rossa in fronte
la civiltà portiamo
ai popoli oppressi
la libertà noi porterem.

Fate largo, che passa
la brigata Garibaldi
la più bella, la più forte,
la più ardita che ci sia
quando passa, quando avanza
il nemico fugge allor
siamo fieri, siamo forti
per cacciare l’invasor.

Col mitra e col fucile
siam pronti per scattare
ai traditor fascisti
ce la farem pagare
con la mitraglia fissa
e con le bombe a mano
le barbarie commesse
sul nostro popolo fedel.

The guy in the photo is Vincenzo "Cino" Moscatelli, communist, one of the most legendary Commander and Political Commissar of the Garibaldi Brigates in Piemonte, and the hero of many partisan songs.
He survived and ended the war as a Lieutenant Colonel.

MAY WE NEVER FORGET HIM AND ALL THE 50.000 HEROES THAT DIED IN THE WAR OF LIBERATION.

Avevo un parente che era un partigiano molto conosciuto nella borgata in cui viveva ed era anche lui della Brigata Garibaldi. È morto tanti anni fa, non sono riuscita a vederlo, ma sono fiera di lui, tantissimo.
