Please turn this into a series! It would also be cool if you guys would consider doing a monthly series on underrated/hidden gem indie games since the scene has absolutely exploded bringing some awesome new game mechanics.with such a massive platform it would really help with exposure too

The game that takes my number 1 spot is Mad Max. I've always wanted to play it ever since it's release but finally got it 5 years after it and I loved every second of it. Though, I feel bad that I couldn't buy it day one so at least I could've helped the sales just a small, little, tiny bit.

Prey 2017 is genuinely one of my favorite games of all time, people always talk about dishonored but the story, the station, and characters were so well written and genuinely an immersive experience, I play it like once a year and always have a blast

I can honestly say being subscribed to this channel I have come across some games that was pretty good that I would’ve never found or heard of on my own and those games have left a huge impression on me! Thank you guys for doing what y’all do!

I would love more videos like this on the channel. It’s nice to see more “underdog” type games get shout outs from bigger YouTube channels like Gameranx because it gets more of people’s attention.

That being said if there’s more to this series I’d love a shoutout to T’chia. It was a really relaxing and beautiful game with a focus on exploring the world naturally instead of just through objectives and that was as such a breath of fresh air. I may be biased since it’s a game centered around the Pacific Islands and as a pacific islander it meant a lot to me to see some broader representation but I had a great time grinding the platinum trophy for it. 😊

Immortals Fenyx Rising was amazing… My wife and I both played it, she got like 98% of the trophies. Great fighting and puzzles along with The lighthearted greek mythology and loves how the greek gods would argue like two old men watching a baseball game.

Kena, Immortals, A Way Out, and Quantum Break are exceptional games, and I enjoyed them really much. Great stories in very different genres, and with good game mechanics.

The Riddick games, "Escape from Butcher Bay" and "Assault on Dark Athena, " are hidden gems. These games offer a unique first-person shooter experience accompanied by engaging storylines and still hold up pretty well. I thoroughly enjoyed these titles for their distinctive gameplay and compelling narratives.

I feel like Vampyr isn't spoken of nearly enough. That game truly understood the vampire power fantasy.. the feeling you got when taking an npc to feed on was just perfect. Not knowing what the consequences would be, but just wanting that blood and power... sooo coool

Yea Ghost Recon Breakpoint went on sale last year for like 17 bucks with all the expansions and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The map is absolutely gigantic and the three chapters are super long and enjoyable! One thing I like that they did was diversify the missions so you’re not just going to this place, killing this guy, delivering this thing. They made most missions completely different from one another.

Immortals Fenyx Rising was one of my favorites. I'm bummed that the sequel got cancelled, it could have been so great.

Glad to see "A way out" on this list. I played this with my best friend after we finished "It takes two" and it deserves more recognition! It's can be goofy, serious, fun, and tragic, and really is something unique.

Been playing Kena: Bridge of Spirits on PS5 recently, and I've gotta say it really is good! Like you said, the art direction is *gorgeous* and the world design makes everything feel like it should be there. Combat is fun, and there are secrets everywhere. Definitely worth a look if you skipped it.

I'm an older gamer and these days it takes something pretty special to get me to give my free time to them, Fenyx: Immortals Rising is one of them though. I played that game through to the end and tried to complete as much of it as I could. It's funny, entertaining, challenging, extremely playable in terms of combat and world traversal. I highly recommend it.

I'm so happy to see Call of Juarez: Gunslinger get mentioned. That really was an excellent Wild West FPS that deserves at worst a sequel, and at best a whole franchise itself, away from the regular Call of Juarez brand. Really really fun game there.

Quantum Break is the perfect #1 for this list. The game is amazing, the story is terrific, gameplay is great, really top quality & no one played it bc it was an Xbox One exclusive. Could go either way on the live action stuff but it didn't hurt the experience IMO. Anyone that's ever enjoyed a Remedy game or just likes action adventure games should play it! 👌

Thanks for this! Back in the late 90's (or early 2000s) a game called Giants Citizen Kabuto came out. It had single and multiplayer. 3 factions that were very different from each other, as well as any other game. It just wasn't marketed and didn't get the love I think it deserved. My buddies and I played the heck out of it and to this day miss it and hope for a reboot for modern machines! If you ever do a video on "Oldies but goodies" or "Blast from the past" or "Remember these games?" or "Best unknown games of the 90s", I hope you give this one some love so more people hear of it and the chances are increased that it gets revived!

If you ever wanted to get into Dark Souls likes but always found them too hard, Thymesia is one that didn't get much press but is quite good and more accessible than it's peers
