Great video. I read Genome whilst studying A-level biology and I must admit it really helped keep my love for the subject going whilst we were studying some of the less interesting parts in lessons. As for A Short History of Nearly Everything, it's one of my favourite popular science books. I think it's such a good popular science book as it's written by a very good author who isn't a scientist but has a keen interest in the subject. Another good one you could try if you haven't already is Your Inner Fish by Neil Shubin!

I really loved this video, thanks for uploading it! I'm interested in science, but I'm an English lit researcher so it's not something I know a huge about about. So thanks for the recommendations, and I loved the Futurama reference, nicely done :)
