F.P.Journe introduces the all new Chronomètre à Résonance.

Marking the 20th anniversary of original F.P.Journe Chronomètre à Résonance, this entirely new timepiece brings a new and improved construction to the iconic model.

The new timepiece is powered by one single barrel (wound by the crown at 2 o’clock) providing energy to two independent geartrains. The energy is equally split via a differential gear which can be viewed through a cutout on the dial.

Each geartrain features its own unique remontoir d’égalité, controlling the flow of energy to the escapement, ensuring it remains constant and linear throughout the first 28 hours of the watch’s total 42 hours of power.

Once the watch is set and fully wound, the two escapements begin to beat and synchronize together via the natural phenomenon of resonance, without any link between the escapements except extremely precise regulations between the two escapements.

The new F.P.Journe Chronomètre à Résonance is available at all F.P.Journe boutiques and authorized retailers, in either Platinum or 6N Gold in 40 or 42 mm; with a dial in 18K white or 6N Gold.
