I did not know "set as head" literally meant just that. I thought it meant setting a certain sim as head of the household 😅

If you have seasons, the umbrella thing is actually very useful. Umbrellas can break due to weather with seasons and if you dont replace the umbrella, youll get a negative moodlet everytime you use the broken umbrella.

The umbrella one is very important for me, I can’t imagine my sims going around town without their duck umbrella

i learned this just recently but with the base game shoe rack, if you click on it in game, you can change if your sims wear slippers, shoes or their pure dogs around the house, its a nice realistic touch

Vampires will use umbrellas in sunlight. They're not very effective but it's a cute detail

the umbrella one isn't useless! i downloaded some cool umbrella swatches and my sims look so cute in the rain with them!

i also didn't know that the shoe rack decor or whatever it's called, when you click on it tho in live mode you can allow to wear shoes, don't allow shoes or wear slippers. I hope I'm not the only one who didn't know that

Im pretty sure one of the big puddle swatches is duck shaped. Maybe take this with a grain of salt though

You forgot to mention that you need to activate cheats in order to shift-click

Use as head can be useful. I had to collect the moonflower for the werewolf cure but you can only collect once per full moon but if you use set as head, you can collect way more

Along with the umbrella stand: if you have a shoe rack you can choose household shoe rules: the household can be barefoot while indoors, wear slippers, or just wear shoes indoors. It’s one of my favorite ones ☺️

There’s also one I just found out with the shoe racks, you can choose if you want your sims barefoot, with shoes, or to wear slippers inside the house. Pretty neat game design.

I used to set as head (if you reset your Sims, you have a duplicate of that item (Therefore free money)) before I figured out how to get money from easier cheats(motherlode)😅 Make sure to reset your Sims on your property. That way, you can get the item 😅

My favorite thing to do with the "set as head" feature is making a sim sit in something they can interact with like a tub and watching sims slowly create a tower of bathtubs
