This is a continuity check. Setting it to Ohms you’d check common to run and common to start and they should equal the number you get on run to start. If not it’s bad.

Question?Ive ohm my compressor and my readings were high and didn't add up to my last readings R to S. Is that an indication that my windings are bad or grounded?
