Saints Row: 10 Things The Game DOESN'T TELL YOU

Saints Row (PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S/One) is filled with things to find and gameplay elements to learn. Here are some tips and tricks before jumping in.

Oh about that bug that locks your controls is triggered when you jump off something that is just the right height to trigger the wing suit option but you hit the ground before it’s finished, it was a similar weird thing that would happen in the other saints row games where you’d jump off something that wasn’t that high and you’d start free falling and are able to parachute. When you’re running around not able to do anything, you can even hear the wingsuit noises. Just quitting out the game and starting it up again fixed it for me.

There must be a huge disconnect between watching someone else play the game and actually playing it yourself, because the videos I've seen makes the game look fun as hell.

I think the one thing I wish this game had was being able to purchase apartments and houses like in Saints Row 2, I absolutely loved that feature especially the customization of it. It's the little creative things us gamers want It's really not that hard if it's been done before.

One think I found that they didn’t tell me until I completely finished the game is that and AI can control your car and take you where you need to go. Just ride on the roof and mark a location on your map

I’m an OG saints row 1 & 2 player and I don’t get why people are hating this game cause the game is not bad. It’s actually good in my opinion & hell a lot of fun in fact if more fun & spacious than the original games. I’m definitely digging the New Mexico desert look. 😃

You can also refill ammo at your armory. Still costs money but it saves a drive if you’re already at hq.

Stuff like the hover board and wing suit are a nice addition to removing super powers. Which were fun at first, but got old fast. Unfortunately, that's one of the few good things I could say about this game looking into everything. They clung to everything wrong with games as of right now and thought it would be a banger.

To performing Barrel Roll on PC, hold drift button (Space) and used A or D to tilt.
Swapping weapon in the vehicle using mouse wheel button.
And for number 2 is happening to PC version as well

I know I'm late to this, but there's an easier way to do the car air stunts. If you break a fire hydrant, it'll shoot out a geyser of water and if you put your car/bike over it, it'll shoot you right into the air and you can do the spins you need to do to unlock the perk you want to.

This game is a lot of fun. I don’t get why people have such a negative outlook on it. GTA fanboys hating I’m guessing?

Just got my church HQ yesterday and you’re able to decorate it and make it look better. You can customize your cars nicely.

Missions are interesting and you don’t know what to expect. I walk around town and always fond goofy and NPCs doing crazy stuff lol.

Stop looking at reviews. Play the game you want to play and stop being so hard headed about every game. Graphics loook so nice tooo

Honestly just got the game yesterday, and for a saints row game it’s phenomenal! I haven’t slept and played for almost 24 hours straight, and I noticed there’s maybe not a bug or maybe it’s intentional game design. If you beat the last mission without buying properties it won’t allow you to finish the last side quest because it says that you haven’t completed all of the missions, and I’m on PlayStation and I’ve noticed that after playing for hours I got the bug you referred to when the controller becomes unresponsive. I kept having to fling myself into walls just to be able to leave my car

Love how this game isn't too serious been having a lot of fun. Bugs are really annoying but a patch or two we will be golden

My biggest annoyances with the game are;
1) not being able to fast travel to ventures
2) some challenges that dont seem to work properly; like the bright future challenge where it doesnt count perfect runs and the 0/60 barrels UNTIL you actually finished the venture's missions.
3) helicopters are buggy as hell;
Getting collision bugs, acting as if there's a ceiling above my chopper, damaging it and preventing to take off. Also carrying heavy loads sometimes makes your chopper/load slingshot back and forth trough the air.
4) the game doesnt warn you about being unable to pop trophies when you use cheats
5) not having a garage/helipad near every venture.
Every time i want a chopper i got to go all the way back to HQ.
6) not nearly enough ladders etc. around Lake Sabastian. Best option is to warp to shore but that will sometimes leave you far from where you wanted to go
That's it really. could be a lot worse.

After a dozen updates and the price tag dropping to $30 I’ll be really excited to get this game

I played this a few months ago and the new patch and DLC just came out. It runs and looks so much better. The criminal empires are my biggest gripe. Some are fun but others are a chore (like the tower jams). Still like the game. But wish they would just remaster Saints Row 2
