We are living a nightmare that no family should ever endure. Recently, we experienced a terrifying incident with the West Covina Police Department in California, where officers drew their guns while my minor child sat helplessly in the car. The trauma of that moment is something we can never forget.

As if that wasn’t enough, it all started when we filed a mold case against our landlord, who is also an attorney. He refused to address the dangerous conditions in our home and initiated eviction proceedings against us after my children—aged just 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, and 19—tested positive for mold in their blood. The very home that should be our sanctuary has become a place of danger and fear.

Our landlord, who is also a criminal attorney, has taken actions that have only deepened our distress. He installed cameras on our property, pointed directly at our bedroom windows, bathroom windows, and the pool area. Shockingly, he has used these cameras to speak inappropriately to my minor children and their friends. His harassment didn’t stop there; he made false claims to the West Covina Police, leading to a near-death encounter with the department.

This ongoing ordeal has shattered our sense of safety and taken a heavy toll on my children’s well-being. They now live in constant fear, and the trauma has left them in desperate need of counseling.
