The documentary "The Living Stones of Sacsayhuaman"
At the beginning of July 2012 the Ministry of Culture of Peru invited a group of Russian geophysicists to research the issues dealing with the soil of the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman. In the course of completing this task there were collected interesting historic and archaeological data and a substantial amount of photo and video materials that were provided the basis for production of this movie.

For those who are interested in the topic of polygonal masonry. A number of methods for obtaining the polygonal masonry are proposed. The basis of the proposed methods is the use of clay/gypsum replicas, a topography translator, and reduced clay models of the stone blocks along with a 3D-pantograph. The results are presented in the article: “Fabrication methods of the polygonal masonry of large tightly-fitted stone blocks with curved surface interfaces in megalithic structures of Peru”. Peru is definitely the most mysterious and fascinating country on the continent.

I would also like to point out, that the Inca, themselves, were adamant that the underlying foundations, consisting of the megalithic polygons, were not created by the Inca. But were, instead, created by a people, that existed here long before themselves.
Food for thought.

I have watched hundreds of videos taking me down this rabbit hole, and dozens of YT channels, but I have to tell you, this video is gold, pure gold. Irrefutable style, impeccable honesty.

I love that the walls are still there because it was impossible to destroy them!

The fact that in 2021, we can but stand in awe of the ancients, speaks volumes.

Great video, years of watching TV specials, has never shown as many sculpted rocks and different rock areas as this video does. Thanks.

There is a whole lot going on here in these areas of Peru that we cannot even begin to understand. Advanced technology and way before the Incas. Many of the stone formations had to have been melted into a softer form looking at the shapes. Precision tools or sound energy used. Pretty amazing.

the final stone featured is an awesome piece that needs to be moved indoors and cleaned, scanned and studied... somebody must make that happen. It's precious beyond measure and this cannot be allowed deteriorate any further .... please promote this comment to show support for it's preservation ....please

The last words are so important. I wish humanity will repair itself and all the damage done to the earth.

The Incas had their own script. It was called Quipu. A writing system where characters are created with knots in string. It could perform complex math, calendars as well as records and anything needed to be remembered in Quechua. Whole Quipu books with thousands of strings have been found.

It's refreshing how in this documentary the many questions about how it was constructed and what it was for are not answered with speculation, wild alien theories and outright lies but instead with the much more scientific 'we don't know'.

I have been here and it is extraordinary as is Manchu Pichu. Everything in this area is constructed very similar, the blocks and the walls are amazing. The enormity of the stones, fitting them, and making these mighty fortresses must have been engineered beyond our comprehension. If you ever get the chance do go and see this!

It's so insane to think of these people moving and building with these huge rocks, I laid brick and block for 9 years and it's insane how good they build these walls. I mean today most people couldn't do this even with the tech and machines we have today just amazing love this shit

I LOVE the fact that extraterrestrials were not mentioned, or even referred to in sarcastic manner, not even ONCE. THANK YOU FOR TACKLING COMPLICATED HISTORICAL SITES WITH COMMON

I enjoy reliving the experiences I had living in Peru for years, via videos like this. Even though this narrator butchers the names of places and things it is still a nostalgic experience. The narrator should also come to realize that, in Cuzco, the Conquistadores were keen to know the origins of these megalithic works. They recorded that the "Incas" told them they had no idea where they came from; they were already ancient ruins when their own ancestors first found them and passed down the legends of their history by oral traditions. The "Incas" did NOT build these megalithic structures. They did, however, rob many of the stones from many of the sites to build structures of their own.
