I felt physically awakened in the worst way possible when she put that ice in the wine.

The ice cube in the wine is akin to a war declaration.

"Pouring water in your wine" (ice is water) is a French expression that means "tempering yourself", because you dilute the alcohol

J'ai hurlé quand elle a mis le glaçon dans le rouge ! XD

As a Belgian, all this hurts just as much. Calling a waiter "garçon" is the best way to suspend all service you will get from him. Imagine calling a US waiter "boy".

As an Italian, even before getting to the ice, I am traumatised by how those wine glasses are filled to the top 😵

In NYC they did serve me wine with ice and slices of orange and lemon.
Yes I was shocked. 🤣🤣🤣

I'm French and I'm still confused about when it's appropriate to start saying bonsoir instead of bonjour ; seems like everytime I say bonjour to a neighbour in the evening they answer with bonsoir, and everytime I say bonsoir they say bonjour! :D

As an Italian I wanted to throw the wine glass at her face 😂 no ice inside beer and wine makes them watery

The bonsoir/ bonjour part is so relatable. After having lived in Paris for 4 years, I’ll still puzzled when it’s after 18 o’clock (which text book says bonsoir) but there is still daylight (bonjour) 😩😂😂

why nobody put ice in wine :
French Wine is a noble product, with a lot of aromas and flavor to discover and analyze, you cant put water (ice) on it because you want it to be fresh

Bonjour/Bonsoir is a daily confusion, but most time if you meet someone after 18h they will use Bonsoir, night or not.

I'm kind of more shocked by the French guy just asking for "Red Wine", I think I never saw that in a restaurant, we generally ask for waiter's advice depending on what they have and what we eat, many time when you take a bottle, they open the bottle and serve a small glass for the one who asked to taste so it's sure it suit his taste
