These Pokémon games might STILL HAPPEN in 2024...

2024 seems to be a blank year for the Pokemon company in the way of main releases, and despite Legends Z-A being announced for 2025, could we be getting Johto remakes or a Stadium game?

But the thought that they would spend an extra year to develop za really gives me some hope so i’m almost praying they just stick to that and come out with something really polished

An official battle simulator is exactly what we need. We need it now more than ever. The setting would be similar to PBR where it would take place on an island. But the island would be big enough to have over 22 colosseums and will have mini-games. The lore behind the island would be that it was rebuilt by the same people who created the Battle Frontier to be bigger and better than Poketopia and was named Neo Poketopia.

Again.... we could just have a year off from mainline games, like that one time back in 2015 when there was no Mainline Pokémon Game following after the release of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire back in 2014 and before the release of Sun and Moon in 2016.

Pokémon stadium 3 would be very cool bringing in all the Pokémon from 1th -9th gen rather then gatekeeping half the Pokémon

This is getting ridiculous. I've missed Gen 3, 5 and above since the initial release. As my introduction for gen 3 was DP&PL, HGSS and 5th and above I just haven't played them. I need to though.

ILCA is not the reason BD/SP remakes were bad. It was still game Freak's decision to have it remade faithfully.

This is something I've been wanting for some time now, even down to the extent of calling it New Pokemon Stadium.

And having a Metronome Mode to cap it off.

A new Pokémon Stadium is exactly what I have been wanting for many years.
The Anime and Showdown already show it is both canon and viable to mash all the gimmicks into one format. Now that it was seen by all who watch the show, we all want to be able to.
I do want the Announcer, I do want him to go ham with the narration just like the first two, but I do want everyone else to have the option to choose what he announces on to trim down his chattiness.
Being able to just pick up and play with [Battle Now] and its premade balanced teams is also a big bonus to getting new players into battling without them having to worry about the more complicated parts they'll learn in the main game or in...
Earl's Pokémon Academy, this little side feature of the Stadium games was an excellent interactive library of everything you needed to know, as well as specifically themed training matches to interactively showcase exactly what it is trying to teach you.

One other route could be a stadium in the Pokémon World game, the one not yet made which will have all the regions.

I just want a fun Johto game with expanded encounters. Maybe a Johto after a terrible storm destroys the region, leaving new routes or dungeons to explore. I just love Johto

Gen 5 is only widely anticipated if you forgot they gave them direct sequels. I do expect them soon, I never expected them in this next cycle, I always thought this is where they might change up the releases on us to make them less predictable.

I do want gen 5 btw, I think a Legends game set in Unova would be by far the most epic, because they could tell THE story, and frankly that story is the best one Pokemon has ever told....

But waiting to do it after they've smoothed over the issues that have cropped up or even waiting until the switch 2 to give it more juice absolutely makes sense to me.

BDSP were not bad games. They were just disappointing

Also, if they made a new stadium, imagine the cool tournaments they could hold for that game! If the Pokémon had fun animations like the originals, and Z-moves, megas, etc. that would be such an entertaining battle to watch. I’d actually watch the tournaments for once!
