great analysis. I didn't pick up on the parallels between William and Lawrence but It makes so much more sense why William would empathise more with Lawrence. it also reminds me of the conversation he had with Dolores about hosts being reflections of the guests

The answer to the riddle of the sphinx is that people change. Not just that they can change, but that change is inevitable. No one before Oedipus got it, because few people are brave enough to look at their past and their future deeply enough to acknowledge that they aren't the people that they once were, and that the person they are now will be left behind.

Thank you for the only meaningful literary analysis of the plot. A contrast to the pedantry elsewhere. Well done.

I think Williams last visit with Delos is right before Season One and that William came to the park to die, which is why he is primarily frustrated with their inability to hurt him. Also I think Ford might have known this and possibly had some sort of friendship with the young William. Therefore he sees a chance to help stop the suicide of William, as he was unable to do with Arnold, by arranging a narrative which draws out the person that he was before his life collapsed.

This show is unbelievable and your analysis was correct. The daughter and making robot copies of humans, but the process is horrific and terrifying. This show taps into the inner shadow self. Children will see the That shadow and recoil. I think Delos was the prototype and his stroke prevented a clean copy. Like a file corrupted.

Wow, my hat off to you (if I had a hat) for noticing the daughter wearing a grey hat. I didn't make that connection. Such observations like that is why I am here

Ford cracked the code for immortality. That memory ball Bernard took was Ford’s consciousness Bernard made a body for Ford.

Those weren't hosts being used as railroad ties, those were guests -- humans.

Surprised to see no one bring up the gunshot wound he seemingly was inflicted. It grazed his neck, no? It seems like it did, but it was not shown or brought up again other then when it happened. I worry about this being a Sandor situation, where it nags him the rest of his life and eventually kills him.
Surely nothing is a coincidence in this show, right?

Luckily there was no stupid Delos task force in this episode...

So, there's like 100% certainty that Man In Black is a Host/Gen2-host of some sort, right? I mean, he keeps getting shot, stabbed, broken bones and doesn't slow him down for more than 2

My guess is MIB actually kills his wife + Logan [+ makes it look like Suicide/Overdose]

Good analysis but your speech cadence sounds like someone who doesn’t have enough breathe to complete more than a sentence fragment. How many question marks can a single sentence have? i.e. “I thought he was?.... trying to become?...a better person?... but was this true?”
