I don't get why in Norsca you don't get Norscan rebellions. Seems reasonable for rival tribes to rise up when you are raiding (and since raiding can actually bring gold and public order makes sense if you prove yourself bad raider that opposition rises to usurp your place)

I feel like all this Norsca, Beastmen and Chaos Warrior ribbing just kinda highlights how quickly the entire Chaos faction would thoroughly self-destruct if they didn’t have plot armor on their side…

Gotta admit, playing as Norsca on Normal was the only way I'd play that again. At least then there aren't armies roaming around in packs to jump you, with elite tier units before turn 10. Dealing with cheats like that sounds masochistic af, with shitty ranged units that would rather hurl axes and javelins, than make BOWS. Even Goblins and Orcs have BOWS & ARROWS, Norscans couldn't even do THAT? Then there's difficulty modifiers on hard or very hard that WRECK public order, leading to the video above. Screw Norsca bro.

Damn, it would be such an issue if I would have wanted to touch Norsca, just IMAGINE having to run around through this very slow terrain with no walls or money to upkeep a lot of armies to defend against rebels or the Brettonian invaders

You forgot the part where from a tier 1 village rebellion the rebel army has a horde of Chosen, Chaos Knights and a couple Shaggoths. Same village that you could barely get marauders
