Effective Proof Of Stake; How does it work?

We introduce Effective Proof-of-Stake, an efficient staking mechanism that avoids stake centralization while still supporting stake compounding and delegation.

With the introduction of effective stake, the higher ranked validators are actually economically punished to stake too much in a single validator and the lower-ranked validators are enjoying extra reward for their stake. The effective stake is acting as an equalizer that pushes for a more evenly distributed stake among validators, thus avoiding stake centralization.

There are a couple mistakes in this video:
1. The x axis should start at 1 not zero
2. There is some confusion about high/low ranked validators. High ranked validators actually have a low rank number (example #1) and low ranked have a high rank number (example #1600). This results in pointing to the wrong side of the graph at 1:10 and 1:20.
3. at 1:10 "higher ranks validators are economically penalized if they staked too much in a single node". Well, how are they being penalized, not as the video explains it. They are actually being penalized by capping there rewards as if they had 1.15x of the median stake. Meaning a node ( at #1) with 100mm and the median stake at 50mm would only receive the rewards as if the node has 57.5mm thus missing out on staking rewards.

Hype 100%, math 20%. Tweaked PoS. Still makes the rich richer, they just need to spin up more nodes. A little better than standard PoS, but nothing special. You could also require PoW and make it even more "special".
