Roco/Fleischmann "SmartRail" is the newest technical innovation to the model railway market: The elegant express steam locomotive of the class 10, with dynamic steam in an exclusive set designed to show off the incredible detailed H0 gauge model. The BR10 is the first HO locomotive to blow smoke from the smoke stack and cylinders. the smoke is syncronized with the speed and sound.
The immaculate wooden case not only serves as protection -- but also as a stylish
presentation of the newly developed rolling track bed -- smartRail.
Just imagine, the heavy tender locomotive stands on the track in front of you, you switch on the sound: Straight away the cylinder drain cocks are opened with a whoosh and the typical boiler sounds of a steam locomotive can be heard.
You set off: A short trill of the departure whistle -- the heavy loco is in motion -- just like the real one. On the way, you can hear the beat of the steam exhaust and every so often the air or water feed pump.
Now you are coming to a halt: The chuffing gets slower -- the loco comes gently to rest with a squeal of brakes. Absolutely fantastic!
