How can some stores charge more than the 5 cents that’s mandated? Also who was behind the fees and the bag charges? Was it the grocery industry? Also can the grocery store make a decision to NOT charge the consumer?

more plastic is better than the thinner ones? only in this screwed up stat is a bag with more plastic better than the thin one . Forced social control through poor policy. Same amount of bags used . nickels spent bags thrown away are thicker and take longer to break down.
