To investigate his death, he brings back ex-Envoy soldier Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman / Will Yun Lee) and in exchange, Bancroft offers Kovacs the chance to live again.

To this day S1 is still one of the best pieces of cyberpunk media ever created—brilliantly gorgeous and deep worldbuilding that doesn't detract from the storytelling

Guys I really recommend this show. It's amazing. The script is well written. You'll not get bored even a bit. The cinematography, acting are just perfect. I just love it's music. It's so catchy. You should definitely go for this. I just love Joel kinnman's acting. He's such a great actor and Martha is amazing too! Starcast is so great.

One of the best shows Netflix has produced hands down. If they continue the theme of hiring a different powerful lead every season to embody Kovacs, they might have a whole different gem on their hands. Bring this back Netflix please.

Fuck yea the Cyberpunk genre is no longer just a thing of the past. Glad to see music videos, new movies and shows play with a theme that was popular during the 80's and 90's

The first season was so wild. I still find myself coming back to it every so often - so many complex themes interwoven. The second season was *fine*, but the first was the best bit of cyberpunk I’ve seen in a very long time
