I’ve heard about Indra before, like I saw him in several Hindu Mythological shows and such and how he was portrayed. Also Indra was often compared with Zeus, the Greek God of thunder and the King of all Gods, based on their powers and such, like there are similarities between both Gods, along with some parts of both Hindu and Greek Mythology

Correction :- Indira isn't the god of war in Hinduism, thats Shiva's younger son Kartikeya

Actually, in Hindu mythology the God of war is Murugan, he's the 2nd son of shiva.

I like eastern mythology of Chinese, Japanese and Hinduism. They're more spiritual then westerns of Greeks and Norse, who r more into battles, praising their own glory and such. More on Hindu gods pls. Do Shakti the goddess of creation next. The only time I've ever heard about her was on 7x01 of Charmed.

correction:
He was Hurrian God as per archaeology, even mentioned in Mittani Inscriptions. So, the later Indians borrowed him into Vedic religion.

Modern Hinduism adopted Indra into their pantheon. Indra was the prime God in Historical in Hurrian culture that Vedic People borrowed like other Gods into the Vedic Pantheon.

Shiva was not even mentioned in the Vedas, he was fairly a new addition to the Vedic addition to Hinduism.

They're not the same religions.
