I’m really looking forward to trying this base. I myself love lavender and especially sandalwood so naturally I have the woods and lavender on the way lol. I actually just made an effort to only have one soap for each day of the week that I truly love. The ones I have coming will fill the last two spots. I needed something to give my face a break from all these frag oils.

I think the only difference between this one and the previous base is beer as far as ingredients go because peter added hyaluronic acid to the unscented, which I also have on the way. I tried to confirm with him if he updated the unscented as well but couldn’t get a straight answer. All he said was “I can assure both are made with hyaluronic acid” 🤷🏻‍♂️. A lot of people knock hyaluronic acid in the shave community but a lot of guys aren’t educated on skincare. It’s actually a skin identical ingredient which is a very good thing. Very smart move on Peter’s part putting this in the skin essentials line.

And to your point about liking the skin food better, I know what you mean but the post shave serum has its place. When your skin barrier is fudged from over shaving or what have you, it’s extremely valuable to have around.

What’re your thoughts on the preshave from a&e? I got some of that too just incase the unscented didn’t quite do it for my pathetically sensitive neck.

This is the best vegan base and I haven't even tried it yet lol. Scent sounds right up my alley. No fresh boi notes. Awesome shave bro.

My idea is to only pick up what I feel would be my favourite scent from each soap maker. Even then you end up with far to many. Same scent in a new soap base is the ultimate no go.

Hey what's up. That titanium razor must be pure butter... I have the bronze and I love it. But knowing you like more efficient razors, why the B plate?! I would think it's too mild. My go to plate is the D. Smooth and efficient
