Hum means - kill the ego, Phat means "without any doubt" Swaha means fire of the Manipura chakra. Hum phat swaha means end the ego, believe without any doubt, and it will manifest.

Even durga mata's mantra om hreem hreim kleem chamundiaye vichaye is extremely energetic...i m a psychic and ardent worshipper of shiv. And i cant pray to anyone else other than shiv so one day something got in me and while praying i wished to do devi mantra and i was literally swinging left to right in a circular way. My body was like a pendulum, the energy was so strong.
