Even if he could come off the bench, it would be a triumph. It's so unlikely he'll be effective, or even playing, but I hope he does. He really put in the work to improve over his career, and his injuries are heartbreaking.

I don't understand the argument that he can't be what he was before. You said that his IQ, defense, and shooting are his strengths and those don't go away. The science has gotten him here, so this doesn't go against it. It would just set a precedent.

IF Zach and Lonzo are still on the Bulls at the opening of the season, WHYTF doesn't someone specifically - intelligently - address just how the backcourt situation is going to work with Coby and Giddey supposedly the starters, then Ayo, plus Zach and Lonzo, not to mention that when you throw in Carter, Duarte and Terry who still really is a guard, not a SF, the Bulls will be incredibly top heavy there.

Breaks my heart to see what happened to Lonzo especially when I wanted him badly before we signed him and it looked like Bulls basketball was fun again with Lonzo being the best player. He truly was our best player
