MAD (mean absolute deviation) helps you get a sense of how "spread out" a data set is. Learn how to compute MAD in this video.
Step 1: Find the mean of the data.
Step 2: Find the absolute deviations. Subtract the mean from each data. (Make all values positive)
Step 3: Find the mean of the absolute deviations obtained in Step 2.
