Today's Celebrity Cruises Drink Packages Explained video is going to give you all the information you need to decide if you should purchase a drinks package. Drink packages have become more and more popular and each cruise line does it differently. Which one should you choose? Are they worth the cost? We are going to tell you everything you need to know in this Celebrity Cruises Drink Packages review.

Many cruisers like to purchase a drinks package so they have a relatively set price for their drinks on board and aren't hit with big surprise charges at the end of their trip. Celebrity Cruises drink package is charged per day and range in price depending on what is included. You can purchase them prior to your sailing (at least 72 hours before you sail) or on the first day of your trip. Celebrity Cruises offer three packages, two that include alcohol and one that does not.

Celebrity Cruises Classic drinks package includes a selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non up to $10. There are a lot of spirits, cocktails, wines, beers, soda you can have on your cruise. You also get 15% off bottles of wines. The cost of the classic beverage package is $89 per day, plus 20% gratuity.

If you want the level up your Celebrity Cruises drinks, the Premium Beverage Package offers a larger variety of drinks including premium spirits, an extended wine list. The premium package includes all drinks up to $17, and it costs an extra $20 a day at $109 per day plus 20% gratuity.

Explained perfectly. For me, I wanted the premium drink package along with the premium wifi. When I considered the total of those 'add-ons', I noted it started to become a better idea to book a Sky Suite, since those are included. So I did. Only problem is that I now don't ever want to travel any other way. But doing the math turns out to be a good idea when considering which cabin category to book. Just finished 12 days on Edge in the Mediterranean. Incredible journey.

We just finished a cruise, we didn't buy the drinks package, drank when we wanted and spent less than if we'd bought the package, although not the case for everyone

When you review drink packages it would be helpful to have still photos of bar drink prices so the viewer can pause and view the detail prices/drink

The update needs an update! Prices have jumped up a lot. May 2025 and a domestic beer is now $10 and premium now covers up to $19. My biggest tip is: Whatever extra's you are considering purchasing, track for a few weeks/months. *Look at the price not the discount %.* Celeb is a bit shady and will increase the price of the package when they increase the discount. Premium drinks were $100 with a 35% discount but when the 40% discount came around, premium was $105 (May 2025).

In order for the drink package to be worth the money, I would have to drink 9 or more alcoholic beverages every single day for my 12 day cruise. There's absolutely no way I drink that much every single day and be feeling good and enjoying my cruise. I think paying per drink is a much better way to go, especially since I'm not going to be on the ship 24/7 getting blasted.

I’m am not an Alcoholic so the Alcohol package on my next Celebrity cruise would be costing me for two people approximately $3.400 + 20% gratuities. For 17 days. That’s as much as my cruise itself.. surely not a good deal. I guess if you want to walk around sloshed all day then the package is for you. I’ll get my alcohol at each port of call at 3-4 dollars each.

I could not imagine not getting the top drink package. We do drink a lot, but it also lets us try a ton of new drinks and if we dont like them we just leave them and order a different one. No worries about a bill at end of cruise. The pice difference between classic and premium is 2 drinks a day.

It seems to me that the Princess does it better on the drink packages. RCCL and Celebrity are too expensive and any package you select, it must include all passengers in the cabin. This year I will not buy a drink package. 💰

So, I bought an all included package for my family consisting of 2 adults and a 10 year old. They have just launched a special offer for upgrading to premium drinks package at an extra £9.40 per day pp. (no idea of dollar conversion). I love my cocktails onboard, it’s the only time I ever have a Cocktail, on a cruise. So i’, m really weighing it up - it seems like a good deal. But looking at the detail, does it mean that my son effectively has no drinks package at all because he is under 12 and so we will have to pay for all his soft drinks onboard? When looking at the upgrade options, it says a child cannot have a drinks package. I’m not sure what I’ve already purchased anymore ….. we usually cruise with MSC and they do kids drinks packages …..

If I have Premium drink package but I want to have sodas like coke, is coke included in the premium or do I need to buy both Zero Proof and Premium drink package to have both? For context I am planning to drink a lot of rum and cokes but I also like a normal coke now and then and was hoping to get both with just the premium package. Thank you for the video!
