The Mini burner in 11.5 with S flex only loses 5yards on my driver…. However, after 2 months i have yet to miss a fairway and hcp dropped from 3.6 to 1.9. Amazing club.

I bought two of these mini’s, I play the 11.5 at 10.5 with a stiff shaft; I play the 13.5 at 14.5 with a regular shaft. I hit a fade with the 11.5; I hit a draw with the 13.5. No driver and 3 wood in my bag anymore. These are so easy to hit! I love hitting the 13.5 off the ground, so easy!

Hi Andy, a little tip from a broadcast sound mixer: pan both the mics to the centre when you’re editing / mixing, the left / right panning just sounds weird. Love the videos, top class. 👍🏼

i ended up getting the new 2024 copper version and i LOVE it went with the 13.5 degree and the MCC +4 midsize grip I am 59 years old and a 8 handicap off the fairway is awesome and off the tee glad i went with it to go inbetween my 9 degree driver and my 17 degree Hywood then my Qi10 Max 7 wood 22 degrees Knock on wood off the deck i have been blasting it it works great for me cheers from Canada

I bought a 300 mini 11.5 play it at 10.75 with a stiff diamana black shaft and it goes in the bag when the big boy goes off! I use a white castle tee and the flight and accuracy are exactly what I want off the tee when I am having a rocky time!

Bought one, partly thank to you. Have been eying this club for almost 2 years. Bought the 11.5 and am hitting it as pure as any club in my bag. Love it

Teeing the ball low and swinging more like a FW wood is key with mini driver, in my experience. Feels so much more powerful and under control than trying to hit up on it like a driver. The CG is such that an upward AoA produces weak strikes.

Lew's opinion is always welcomed and valued. Happy to see he's willing to do these.

I have been playing a Mizuno STG from the factory at 44 inches and set to 11 degree which closed the clubface from standard enough to help fight my late square up fades. I have been hitting center of the face more often and getting a more penetrating flight. I have not noticed any loss of distance from my full length Rogue ST.

I have the 13.5 model to replace my 3 wood and what a club easy to launch off the fairway and even better off the tee

Great video, thank you. Just bought the 13.5 degree and think it's excellent. I was also surprised by how low the ball flight was. I expected it to be much higher.

I'm obsessed with my brnr. I got it on 9 degrees it rolls out forever and easy to hit. Still got my ltdx in the bag for holes I can swing out of my shoes and not worry about losing it

Thats a nice looking club. I love the way it sits. It should be an option for a lot of amateur golfers.

People comment that you should compare heads on the same shaft? OK... Guilty as charged. Nice video. I agree that if you really want the best performance from a club, you need to be fit for both the head and shaft at the same time, as they do work together. This is a really interesting option, and I'm tempted to give it a hit, but keep feeling that maybe I'd be better off spending that money on lessons to hit driver better.

I bought a used Original One mini-driver in mint condition used recently and it's been terrific as an accurate off the tee option that goes around 250 for me, vs. my driver that averages in the 270's. The mini-driver is definitely easier for me to hit consistently.

ANDY! You should do the differing handicap test with the mini, the one that you did several years ago. I thought that was brilliant because it showed it was not for a low/scratch golfer, but for the mid+ handicappers it was an eye opener.
And to me it's about the dispersion, not the yardage, plus distance consistency. In my testing it was often going further than my normal driver, but consistent distance and dispersion.
I thought the swing weight was a big factor for me as I had a more controlled tempo, unlike the lighter driver.

I’ve just picked up a 11.5 from eBay and used it for 9 holes as a tee club. It’s incredible .

Your making me want one. Could take the driver and 3 wood out of the bag and add this and a 7 wood. I think this is about to get expensive🤣

I’ve used a 16 degree SLDR mini for years. It’s good for fairways and some tees. This at 11 would take care of the driver, which gets less reliable as I age into my late seventies.

Never tire of watching the languid power and control of Lewis's swing.
