The president of the European Commission has been forced to self-isolate after meeting someone who later tested positive for coronavirus.
Ursula von der Leyen said she had tested negative on Monday and would stay in quarantine until Tuesday morning in line with Belgian Covid rules.
Mrs von der Leyen was told on Sunday night that she would need to go into quarantine after meeting an unnamed individual, who has since discovered they are infected, last week.
