So when Arabic speakers say "I'm doing well" they always say "el hamdulilah", as in Thank God? I admire this so much, it is such a humble way to express gratitude

I'm a native Egyptian and I can confirm what Ahmed was saying: da ginan, masha2allah! Your accent is on point, and the method is sick. Thanks for sharing :)

choosing the Egyptian dialect is actually really smart, it's one of the easiest to understand for us other Arabic dialects speakers thanks to Egyptian cinema, and also because it's the closest to the MSA.
The downside is that u may find other dialects hard to understand (especially maghrib dialects).
Keep it up!

I hate making mistakes or looking silly in front of people, so it gives me anxiety to practice language learning with others, even a tutor. A large barrier to language learning for me is just getting out of my own head. This was a very inspiring video :)

As an Egyptian, I'm super impressed! Your arabic is amazing, the fact that you learned all this in such a short amount of time is mind-blowing! I was smiling through the whole video. Looking forward to your next trip to Egypt 🙌

He said the Egyptians watching this are not gonna believe the speed of ur progress. He didn't lie, Jo! 🔥👍 I'm quite shocked even though I know that you're a language prodigy, it's still weird how you could seamlessly pull off one of the HARDEST languages in the world in such a short span of time! BRAVO 🥳 T'es magnifique! ❤️

Wow. What you learned in 4 days took me a whole semester to understand. This video is so helpful with the resources. I definitely need a tutor. Arabic is no joke. The eyptian dialect/personality matches you. Eyptians are full of life and humor.

Girl, I'm so proud of you, arabic is my native language and always imagined it must be incredibly difficult for anyone to learn but you are rocking it!! I absolutely love your energy and thirst for knowledge, not only limited to learning the language itself but by learning about for example memory and how it works and how to improve it.. just wow. Special word in arabic: Ma Ashtarek, means : how great you are. Keep it up!! xoxo
