Seipai Kata for Goju Ryu: Step by Step

Seipai kata: complex and beautiful. If you have just begun your Seipai journey, this is the kata video for you! Ché demonstrates the sequence at performance speed and follow-along speed, and breaks down this Goju Ryu kata into its smallest details. Bunkai for each move are also included at each step. Sepai is an interesting kata in that it has a number of unusual techniques including one that uses the unique use of a fist shaped like it would be when one knocks on the door. It seems to be of Chinese origin meaning 18 hands. When performing this kata be prepared to do a lot of circular arm movements and body twisting. Keep up the great work Che Sensei.
